Based on photos my husband and i put together this fun nerf gun wall as part of our boys room makeover.
How to hang nerf gun on wall.
The back frame is used as a spacer for the pegboard hooks.
When building the frames you will need to miter the ends of the 8 boards at a 45 degree angle.
We built two frames for our nerf wall.
So i went on the hunt for ideas and found some nerf gun wall options.
Place the peg board hooks around the peg board and rearrange as needed to fit your nerf guns.
Use a level to ensure your boards are straight.
Pre drill your holes for the drywall screws then use the screwdriver to install the drywall screw.
Do the same for the bottom mark where your board will end come up about 2 inches and mark this.
Then attach two boards at the corner with metal brackets or braces.
With the nylon clips pushed closest to the outside of each corner use a marker to mark the hole location for the wall anchors.
Start by figuring out where your pegboard is going to go and that it fits.
Hang a wire rack on your wall using screws anchors or other attachments depending on the wall material.
First thing to do is find a nice spot that you would like to put your display rack.
Place one spacer onto each screw and while holding the peg board into place screw into each anchor.
We purchased baskets and lined with a tin mini loaf pan to hold our bullets and darts.
Find the studs in your wall and screw the 1 2 pieces into the studs.
Total nerf gun wall project cost under 50.
Attach 2 hooks spaced about the same length as your nerf gun for each gun you want to store and hang them over the hooks for quick efficient storage.
Come down about 2 inches from that mark and mark that this is where you want to put the 1 2 boards.
You can also use slat board as an alternative to wire racks.
We came in right at about 45 which included everything we used.
Measure where you want the top of the pegboard to be and mark it.
Place pegboard against wall and mark with a pencil where your screws will go.
