Install the flooring ending one half inch from the edge of the front door. Make use of various t molds that are available for your laminate here. First butt a piece of laminate against the bottom of the door jamb and draw a line where the top of the laminate meets the door jamb. The 1 2 inch gap is for the doorway only.
