Loosen the bolts holding the bottom panel to the center bracket and carefully remove the panel and replace with new panel. Center the door panel in the garage doorway. You ll also need to secure the springs that allow the door to move but once you do your garage will open and shut smoothly and safely. If you re installing a two car garage door place a reinforcing bar on the top panel to prevent the door from bowing in the center. Drill pilot holes image 1 and secure the bar with screws. To hold the level in place tape it to the section.
