We ve got just the seal you need whether you re just replacing a single damaged seal or doing a complete overhaul on your older jeep. When installing on tj models add the strip to the top front lip of the hardtop up to the front edge. On late model tj s push up the ends of the factory windshield gasket into the top. It is ok to place this gasket over the existing gasket.

Make sure the top is equal distance in both corners. Do not remove the old gasket. Finally smooth any rough areas using an index card. Install the windshield. Make sure top is centered on the windshield frame and gasket. Sit in the front seat and look up at the windshield.
